During Aquatech Amsterdam 2008, the International Water Association, in co-operation with the Royal Netherlands waternetwork and Aquatech, will organise 3 conferences.
The conferences are:
Industrial Water Treatment Systems 02 and 03 October - This conference deals with the latest developments related to industrial water, including recycling, custom-made solutions, decreasing energy use and reducing CO2 emissions.
Millennium Development Goals on Sanitation 30 September and 01 October - This year is the UN Year of Sanitation and the IWA conference is designed to stimulate the meeting of the global sanitation goals. Using practical examples, experts will discuss new sanitation concepts, including decentralised treatment with cost recovery via artificial fertiliser energy and sales.
Design and operation of membrane plants 01 and 02 October - Renowned membrane specialists from around the world will discuss the latest energy-saving membrane applications, such as the improved membrane bioreactor. The conference has been organised to stimulate international cooperation in the far-reaching optimisation of membrane processes.
