The new oxyrator star
 DHV introduces a new surface aerator with vertical shaft: the Oxyrator®-Star. This aerator will be applied next to the conventional, cone-shaped and proven Oxyrator®, which aerator is already applied by DHV and through licensees outside the Netherlands in waste water treatment plants, e.g. Carrousel® systems. The Oxyrator®-Star is an aerator of the rim blade type, featured by a horizontal flat plate with ten vertical blades at the circumference. This new aerator can offer a cost effective option for the Oxyrator® in new and to be retrofitted treatment plants. The Oxyrator®-Star was developed by the legendary aeration expert and former DHV-engineer Dick ten Hove just before he passed away.

The waste water flow includes the solid waste in the form of bio plastics and kitchen refuse.
